Outreach Ministry

We have largely expanded upon our outreach program in the past year! We have a weekly outreach opportunity, talking to people in the streets of Towson every Tuesday morning. In addition to this, we have events we plan throughout the year, with some of the highlights listed below. We would love to have you onboard, there is a lot of room for volunteers!

FALL FESTIVAL

Every year the city of Towson holds the Towsontown Fall Festival, which includes a street fair right along the street of our church! We set up our own booth, have visitors spin a prize wheel, play games, get some free water and snacks, and more! We get to engage with hundreds of people in the Towson community during this event!

THANKSGIVING MEAL

In 2025, we kicked off our first Thanksgiving event. We cooked and provided a free Thanksgiving meal to people in the Towson community and had the chance to spread the word of the Gospel. This was one of our biggest outreach events in a long time and was a great way to impact the community in a positive and meaningful way.

SPRING FESTIVAL

Much like the fall festival, the city of Towson has another street fair at the Towsontown Spring Festival! This event is generally bigger, so it is one that requires more resources than the festival in the fall. We have the same setup with offering complementary water, lemonade, information cards, and the chance to spin the wheel for a prize!

LEMONADE PICNIC

During our fall and spring festival outreaches, we like to have an event to invite people to. During the Spring festival, we had what we called Lemonade in the Shade, where we invited people to have lemonade and cookies in our church courtyard. It is a great time to show new people our church show some hospitality!

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Around the time of the fall festival, we have another event to invite people to with our ice cream social! This is another time of fellowship in our beautiful courtyard where people can help themselves to ice cream sundaes with a whole buffet of toppings to choose from! It is another good time to connect with the community.
