MINISTRY PHILOSOPHY
The ministry philosophy of Calvary Baptist Church is summarized in these foundational
commitments:
1. Identity before strategy — We begin with who we are in Christ before determining what we do.
2. Scripture defines practice — All ministry flows from the authority of God’s Word.
3. Discipleship is central — Making mature followers of Jesus is the core of all ministry.
4. Mission over memory — We pursue God’s mission without being limited by nostalgia or institutional preservation.
5. People over institution — The church is the people of God; while structures, programs, and traditions exist to serve the mission.
