Calvary began this monthly cake baking mission in 1997.
Our Daily Bread serves between 600-700 people daily! Cakes for Our Daily Bread is a mission we partner with our neighbors at Immaculate Conception. The members at Immaculate Conception make casseroles and we bake cakes for the first Sunday meal of every month. Our goal is 40 cakes each month. Thank you for your contributions.
Box cake mixes, foil pans and lids are available to you and can be picked up in our Fellowship Hall on the last Sunday of every month. You only need to supply eggs, oil and your time! Please bake them, frost them and bring them back on the Saturday before the first Sunday of the following month between 10am - 11am. Lucy and her team pack the cakes to be dropped off at Our Daily Bread. If you can help out, Lucy would love to hear from you!
Please scroll down to bottom of page for details on baking cakes.
We also collect "Bags" each January to donate to Our Daily Bread. On February 5th, 2017 we delivered:
- 930 Tea Bags
- 850 Brown Lunch Bags
- 1260 Ziplock Sandwich Bags

We passed 56 Bibles, all the youth DVDS, all the flyers for the concert, children's books and about 25-30 information packets about the church.
In 2016 Calvary collected a total of 56 baskets and $50 for ACTC Thanksgiving Baskets. We exceeded our goal of 50 baskets. Great work!
The ASSISTANCE CENTER OF TOWSON CHURCHES offers an ecumenical program that provides help to the poor and needy families in our community. It began as the result of a study conducted by the Towson Area Ministerial Association exploring an effective and efficient way to meet the needs of people coming to churches requesting help. Fourteen churches joined together to form ACTC. A consortium of 50 churches now participates in the outreach effort. CBC collects food for ACTC each June. Calvary also help with the Thanksgiving Baskets
