*HYMN 364:
“Come, Holy Spirit, Dove Divine”
*CALL TO WORSHIP: Psalm
63: 1-8
O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for
you; my flesh faints for you, `
as in a dry and weary land where
there is no water.
So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.
Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands and call on
your name.
My soul is satisfied as with a rich feast,
and my mouth praises you with joyful
lips
when I think of you on my bed, and meditate on you in
the watches of the night; for you have
been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings to you; your right
hand upholds me.

UNISON
CONFESSION:
Help us to remember, Lord, that it is You that sends the
rain on the just and unjust. So when we
have seen rain falling on others, forgive us for assuming, that its falling on
them, is some how their fault.
And when rain falls on us, may it remind us again of
the waters of baptism, and how Your grace was present for us in those waters. Forgive us for forgetting that the waters of
baptism are not just about grace, they are also about growth. You have planted Your word in us. It has been watered by Your grace, but it
hasn’t always produced the fruit you may have expected, forgive us.
WORDS
OF ASSURANCE:
“Happy
are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked… They are like trees
planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their
leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper.”

SHARING THE
BREAD pg. #416
My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary, Savior
divine!
Now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away,
O let me from this day, be wholly Thine!
May Thy rich grace impart strength to my fainting
heart,
My zeal inspire;
As Thou hast died for me, O may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be, A living fire!
SHARING THE CUP pg.
#342
Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in
Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed.
Be of sin the double cure, Save from wrath and make
me pure.
Not the labors of my hands Can fulfill thy law’s
demands;
These for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and
Thou alone:
In my hand no price I bring, Simply to Thy cross I
cling. Amen.
