10:45 Service of Anointing: a time for special prayer
PRELUDE: “Devotion” by Robert Thygerson
INTROIT
*CALL TO WORSHIP: Psalm 19: 1-7,
The heavens are telling the glory of God;
and the firmament proclaims his
handiwork.
Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words;
their voice is not heard;
yet their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the
world.
In the heavens he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom from his wedding canopy,
and like a strong man runs its course
with joy.
Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them;
and nothing is hid from its heat.
The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul;
the decrees of the LORD are sure,
making wise the
simple;
Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you,
O LORD, my
rock and my redeemer.

THE BREAD #366
Let
us break bread together on our knees,
Let
us break bread together on our knees;
When
I fall on my knees, With my face to the rising sun,
O
Lord, have mercy on me.
Let
us praise God together on our knees,
Let
us praise God together on our knees;
When
I fall on my knees, With my face to the rising sun,
O
Lord, have mercy on me.

THE CUP #368
Here
at your table, Lord, This sacred hour,
O

Calling
our thoughts away From self and sin,
As
to Your banquet hall We enter in.
Come then, O holy Christ, Feed us, we pray;
Touch with Your pierced hand Each common day,
Making this earthly life Full of Your grace,
Till,
