PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
God
who sees and understands the realities of our world, You who in Jesus felt the
sting of the whip of power, certainly You can understand our fears in facing
the future. Even the rulers of this

them to behave in beastly fashion.
Where is there any hope for us… except to cower and fall in
line… and so we have.
WORDS
OF ASSURANCE:
“The
hour is coming , indeed it has come, when you will be scattered… I have

SHARING THE BREAD (#446)
Take time to be holy,
Speak oft with thy Lord;
Abide in Him always, And
feed on His Word:
Make friends of
God’s children, Help those who are weak;
Forgetting in nothing His
blessing to seek.
Take time to be holy, The
world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret
With Jesus alone:
By looking to Jesus Like
Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends in thy conduct
His likeness shall see.
SHARING THE CUP (#276)
O Jesus, I have promised
To serve Thee to the end;
Be Thou forever near me,
My Master and my friend;
I shall not fear the
battle If Thou art by my side,
Nor wander from the
pathway If Thou wilt be my guide.
O Jesus, Thou has promised
to all who follow Thee,
That where Thou art in
glory, There shall Thy servant be;
And, Jesus, I have
promised To serve Thee to the end;
O give me grace to follow
My Master and my friend!
GREET
EACH OTHER WITH THE PEACE OF CHRIST
