*CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 104: 24-31
O LORD, how manifold are
your works! In wisdom you have made them all;
the earth is
full of your creatures.
Yonder is the sea, great and
wide, creeping things innumerable are there, living things both small and
great. There go the ships, and Leviathan that you formed to sport in it.
These all look
to you to give them their food in due
season;
when you give to them, they
gather it up;
when you open
your hand, they are filled with good
things.
When you hide your face,
they are dismayed;
when you take
away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
When you send forth your
spirit, they are created; and you renew the face of the ground.
May the glory
of the LORD endure forever;

RESPONSIVE CALL TO PRAYER:
We have been born of flesh…
And air.
Air without flesh is just
wind…
and flesh without breath is dead…
So all humanity has them
both…
Flesh and air.
Yet, some within humanity
have something more…
A different kind of air… a kind of second wind.
It is the breath of God's
Spirit…
A divine wind.
This breath of God may be
everywhere… accessible to everyone…
It may be that
some people just hold their breath, and refuse to inhale God's breath.
But those who inhale the
fresh air of God are revived… reborn into the life, which is eternal.
Spirit, Now live in me.
Amen.

Decisions of
faith are personal decisions. It is for
us to choose if we will believe in God.
Decisions of faith are also public and corporate decisions. When we choose to follow Jesus we are
choosing to become part of the “Body of Christ”, the Church. If you would like to confirm the decision
you have made to begin your life of faith or continue that life as a part of
this congregation, come forward as we sing the invitational hymn and speak with
the worship leader about your decision.
