The lights are bright outside: in streets, in stores, and in homes.

So why should we look= for light in this dark hall?

Because, those lights outside will be darkened soon: decorations will come down, bulbs will burn out, power may be cut-off= .

  &nb= sp;       So, where is the light that will not fail?

Candle lighter:  Here we have a flame= and candles!

SERMON:  &nb= sp;    “The Story of the Other Wise Man”     

“The Story of the Other Wi= se Man” was written by a Presbyterian minister, Henry Van Dyke, around 1895.  In telling the story, in earlier years I started with almost blank pages.  Now that I am old and out of pract= ice, I have drawn most of the sketches ahead of time, but the story is the thing a= nd I hope it will be as meaningful to you as it has been to my family and to me through the years.  I apprecia= te your letting  me share it with you.   Rev. Youth Skiing Trip:  We will go and spend the night on Friday February 3rd at Skycroft, = and on Saturday we will go skiing at White Tail Ski Area.  Attempts will be made to keep the = cost around $62 per person.  If you are interested in going as a skier or chaperone speak with Doug Thomas (410-825-1460), or the Church Office (410-825-3360),  sign-up on the back of an attendan= ce card.  Friends are welcome.  If you need financial help in goin= g talk to the pastor.
